Kellie Martin, an American film and television actress most well-known for her performances as Christy Huddleston in the period drama series 'Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the Family drama 'Life Goes on' and Lucy Knight in the medical drama series 'ER'. Also, she is known for playing the title role in the "Hailey Dean Mystery" series. Martin was born to a department shop buyer and a kindergarten instructor. Her first acting experience was in the age of seven when her aunt, who was a nanny in Michael Landon's family, offered to help Martin get a part as a guest star on the television show Father Murphy. After she graduated from Yale University in 1982, Martin began to take her acting profession more than just a hobby. Her roles were significant on television as well as the big screen.
